To try to make a long story short. I had 5 four inch goldfish(all common) in a 55 gallon... they got along great. I moved 3 of them to my pond. Then the 2 left started chasing each other. The tank was later upgraded to a 75 where the 2 continued their behavior(I was thinking maybe they were trying to spawn).
My pond came to it's end(It seems so did one of those three in it). I decided to put the other two back in the tank. To my surprise the two in the tank chased and bullied the two from the pond. Finally after a few days things settled down a little, however I'm now seeing all four of them chasing each other around and one of the returning pond goldfish's fins are slightly ripped up with a few missing scales.
Has anyone seen common goldfish act this way?
Edit: Opps, this wasn't suppose to be in the media lounge... could a mod please move it?
Thanks,
