Aggressive Lap

Welcome to monster fish keeping. It wouldn't be call monster fish if they didn't show aggressions.

They'll have more room in the bigger tank but then I stress out that they will become a meal. And I do have a larger tank, well a few, that I can set up for these guys. Maybe that will be my best bet. Ugh.. These darn fish are adding to my already stressful life.
Talking about stress, i just bought 5 bala shark 4"-5" and im worried that they'll become dinner. So what i do is leave the lights on unless its feeding night for the bichirs, after feeding turn the lights on again, lolz.

She/he probably becoming territorial, and saying he/she is the boss in the tank, aslong as nothing really bad happen if its only nipping it should be fine, but if the lap is holding into her and you think the endli is in stress take action right away. Its usually the other way around, the endli being mean than the lap, lolz

The problem is the small tank and not enough polys to spread aggression. I had the same issues each time I had to quarantine two new polys together and that was in a 75 gallon. One will always be a jerk and dominate the other. Then when introduced to a larger group of polys it tends to calm down.

Even though your polys may seem small it might be time to move them with the larger polys after all. The lap will get a reality check when it is way down on the pecking order.
