its currently in my garage in pieces. it has to be done on saturday. its just a 2x4 framed pond. nothing flashy. simple practical, with a little bit of flash adding a 125gal lower section that it waterfalls into then is pumped up to the 35 gal rubbermaid filter then falls out into the main pond. i will be posting a thread in the indoor pond section following a hard weekend of installing and running back n forth to the lfs to pick up the new fish.
 
So they are in it now? Or it is not done? No pics at all?
 
on my current 500gal i have been running a 1500gph barracuda utility pump which isnt bad energy wise. it is in an insulated heated/air conditioned room that used to be a bedroom in my finished basement. the pump, lighting for my plants, dehumidifier running 24/7 all take care of heating it for me, so no heater. i will be running my 3000 gph 1/3 hp wayne sump pump when i get the 1200 in.
 
So you said they were in something that is not built yet? Or am I not reading this correctly?
 
nothing yet. currently it is a 500 gal with a 22" clown knife, 14" florida gar, 10" amarillo, 2 6-7" pacu, 11" 4 line pim, 4" convict. my family owned lfs is going out of business and rehoming all there large fish in my pond. so my 1200 got fast tracked, wasnt planning to have it done for 3 weeks. there are also a pair of 6" jd's. there is just a large assortment of diff. sa/ca cichlids. he is also giving me a couple 75 gal tanks with filters, lights, heaters if all goes well. might only get one and a 55 breeder.
 
i currently have a 500 gal indoor pond with a clown knife, gar, 2 pacu, amarillo, convict, pim. i am upgrading to a 1200 as of saturday. i have all my materials in my garage. my frame work is partially completed. on sunday i will be going to and from my lfs that is going out of business transporting multiple large sa/ca cichlids to my newly constructed 1200 gal. indoor pond. some of these cichlids include 4 12+" oscars, assortment of 6" green terrors, jack dempseys, a firemouth, a pair of 8" jags, a 12" african cichlid, a 12" clown knife. tonight i picked up 2 12" and 1 16" plecos.
 
dont need to cycle it i already have the filter on my 500. its been cycled for a looooooong time. (the 500 is coming out for the 1200 to go in.)
