I'd like to say thank you to everyone, past and future, for reaching out with sympathies and compliments on the Big Guy. It's comforting to know that there are people out there that can understand one's attachment to their fish. And I, in return, am sad to read of others who have lost their beloved pets. I share in deepest sympathies...

i could only imagine how you feel, sry for your loss:( thank you for posting your loss so that others can learn from this horrible experience. when i was just a teenager i lost 3 big arowanas all had lids and one of my biggest actually broke the glass lid on my 125.but i have learned from those past errors that i made. habitat arrangements are very important. now i dont even have one tank without live plants and i keep them as close to a natural setting as i can get.sorry again and i look forward to seeing your new baby when it arrives.dont get discouraged ,roll with the punches and all will benefit.

sorry about your loss.. i was a nice looking gar..

really feel sorry about your loss
20yrs!!!!!!!!! and this, would have taken a toll on me
