Keep one or the other, if you divide the tank they will not have enough room. You can also try growing the oscars larger and reintroducing a flowerhorn when the oscars are significantly larger.

Unfortunately, the flowerhorn will probably keep pace or surpass the oscar's growth rate.

It could work if the specific fish play nice, but it doesn't seem like this is the case. I don't think you see many cases of flowerhorns being on the low end of the aggression scale.

I agree with the second half of your statement...oscars are one of the fastest growing cichlids IME and will easily surpass a flowerhorn in size after a few months.

Dead oscars don't grow at all. If he's already having problems, it'll probably get worse as the FH settles in and gets more territorial.

the fH costed me 50 bucks. my four pirahas costed me 40 dollars. do you guys think they can coexist?

No.

You need either less fish or more tanks.

here's a trick i used on my parrots; the new one was always picking on the smallest one, and finally i got fed up and got a fish net, and whenever the smallest one got picked on, I go in with the net and chase the new one around and around. after a week, i think it got the hint, and things have quieted down a lot; not saying it will def. work since FH are really aggressive, but you never know; I always think cichlids are smart and they do seem to learn.

i'd have a think boutit and either get rid of ur FH or ur oscars bro...OR have the best of both worlds and get another tank!

dithers could also be a choice...???

no fish will be good witha group of ps
they will eventually kill the fish and eat him
the FHs usually are pretty aggressive and unless the O is too big for the FH i doubt that there will be peace
i keep 2 FHs(5"+ and 4"+) with my O(8"ish) and GT(7"ish) but my tank is a 220g(uk) and the FHs were 2" when they were introduced to the others and my FHs have had a very rapid growth at least the one that is 5"+ has grown very fast

i have an 8" oscar with an 8" flowerhorn with no problems, so please dont say it is impossible, they are in a 4ft 90g tank...

This will never work, sooner or later Oscars will be killed, even when much larger than FH

I don't agree with this; some of my flowerhorn fry are raised with small oscars and they grow up together in peace. I also have a 13" male and a 9" female FH with 8-10" oscars and they are perfectly fine together, grant it they are very territorial and the oscars don't roam around them too often. I would say to reintroduce it later or upgrade the size of your tank, a 120 is a very min. for an adult FH, they are very big and powerful fish.
