Agression issues

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Well i had quite a bit of structure to begin with. The aggression was not like overly dangerous. It was just stressful to watch the constant chasing and the obvious stress of the smaller ones.

Figured so which is why I mentioned the above, unless you found a relaxed one. I was watching my 3 fight each other last night over a bunch of different areas. They don't hurt one another as of yet. Green Sunfish with others in a small tank just doesn't work every time, or most of the time.

i had a longear and dollar in my 55 gal. the longear started to constantly nip the dollar tearing his tail so i added 2 4in. warmouth and a 5-6in male redbreast i got fishing. that seemed to do the trick. the warmouth wouldn't attack but would flare their gills and stand their ground to the long ear. the redbreast quickly became dominant and would chase a short distance but never nipped. now everyones got their spot with harry (the redbreast) right smack in the middle as the referee! lol!
