Agression?

I would be caustious about putting any vics with Mbuna any time. Victorians aren't really as aggressive as a lot of people think. The last Vic I had with Mbuna didn't make it. Suffered from a lot of aggression.

That's very true as well. Mbunas can get nasty as well and I wouldn't trust them. However that depends what kind of vic it is. I know of guy who kept a single male pundamilia crimson tide who dominated a tank full of mbunas. The guy never expected that to happen. Samething goes for the fulu. Don't underestimate cichlids, anything can happen. I've never kept fulu, but heard they were quite aggressive. But as you said, I'd be cautious as well.

I'd say be cautious as well too. But the Irony of the situation. I was staring at my 125 that is full of assorted and various size mbunas and of course I have 2 lil' Julie Regani's in there with them. But I noticed the 6" johanii was going towards one of the Julies and the Julie pretty much ruled him out of his territory. Impressive since the Julie is only roughly 3". But my 2 vics have plenty of places to run if they needed too. Also to my surpise yesterday, I noticed that I have salousi fry on the other side of the tank. Only spotted 2 though.

I think in this situation, you would be going by chance. I have found that you either do groups of Vics or you better have a really dominant single. Some fish are more aggressive than other, which could be why some dominate tanks of mbuna and some don't. Since you alread have a group of Latisfaciata in the tank, you may have to worry as much. The fulu might fit into the scene and go unnoticed. I do know that bumblebees are very agressive as they mature and they get much larger that most vics, or mbuna for that matter. Johanni can also be very agressive.
I would say that if the Fulu survives in the tank, there is a definite chance of inbreeding between the latisfaciata and the Fulus. Some females may not be as picky. Definite risk for hybrids.
