Ok, heres my setup. I have 1- 6 in jardini, 1- 3.5 inch oscar and 2- 3 inch tinfoil barbs and 1 - 5-6 in ornate bicher in a 125g tank. I am seeing what look like battle wounds. I dont see any agression in the tank,,,I hardly ever even see the ornate. Do these look like battle wounds to you? All water paramaters are normal. I have a 30g sump and a filstar xp3 running ATM.I know the jar probably will need a tank of his own, but it looks like he is getting his ass handed to him too. Could the ornate be doing this?

Does your ornate look similarly affected? I have never heard of ornate bichirs harssing other tankmates although their attempts to prey on smaller tankmates is not unheard of as they are ambush predators.

On the tinfoil barb and jardini, those graze marks and portions where scales are missing indicate battle wounds. As for the oscar, it is hard to say whether those are wounds as well. Why is its caudal fin looking trimmed or lopsided? Isolate the ornate bichir and give it two weeks. See if there are still any physical changes in their appearance aside from doing daily water changes until all your fish recover completely.
