I have two Sucker fish right, all I know is people call them Sucking catfish or Chinese algae eaters.
They are really cool I want to buy more, but since I have had my three Barramundi they are really aggressive, they chase my barramundi's around the tank when ever I put the feeder fish in for my barras.

Any ideas as to why? I'm not worried about my barras because the suckerfish could never hurt them.

Here is an old picture of one of them.

CAE's are naturally nasty as they mature. They get nastier as they grow.

Definitely more trouble than they are worth.

Yes. Adults are hard to come by. Most we see are juveniles only.

If you have koi and goldfish in the pond, then they're the next victims of harassments. The only tankmates that would easily get along with these fish are the aggressive loaches such as the tiger loaches (Syncrossus sp.) and Yasuhikotakia modesta.:)

mine chases almost anything, even my synodontis, who's several times his size. he is mostly just territorial though, because he'll only feed from the bottom and shoves my synodontis and corys around. he's about 3.5 inches, and hasn't grown much, just a little jerk of a fish
