if you don't mind spending close to 10 bucks for a can of it, solarcaine is a first aid spray used for bad burns/sunburns

After living in Thailand for 5 years the one thing I'd always use when I got sun burned was yogurt.
Just get some plain yogurt and spread it all over where your burned, let it dry then wash it off.
After that coat it with aloe. You'll feel a LOT better...

thanks for all your suggestions people, and my sun burns are slowly leaving and becoming less painfull i got some sleep last night but anyhow thanks.

a jar of Noxeema works wonders. if i burn i rub it on a little thick and go to bed-and wake up without a sunburn at all! loove that stuff...
Tea bags help a lot too. Just make tea and use the bag aftwards and apply it directly to the burn. It works surprisingly fast.
