AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
No, just put the EBJD and the Sev in the 75 g. They're babies and it's a big tank, you won't have to do that many water changes to keep the ammonia under control while it's cycling. No way I'd part with a fish I liked when all I had to do was a few extra testings and water changes.

I'm doing fishless cycling, adding large amounts of pure ammonia. Wouldn't that hurt them?

Do a 100% water change on the 75g to remove the added ammonia, put in the ebjd and severum and just rely on the ammonia they produce to cycle the tank. Just watch it closely and do water changes and dose with prime to keep your levels in check. Also, wut kind of sketchy divider are you using that it can be defeated by a 3" fish, lol?

Yes, the ammonia that's in there would hurt them. So do exactly like bob965 said. It's exactly what I'd do. (Minus the comment about the 'sketchy divider' which actually did crack me up).

I agree with both of the above angles; stop the "fishless cycling", do a 100% water change on the 75G and then either:

a) cycle with the EBJD and severum, or
b) cycle with the convict

in a 75G, either of the above should be quite safe . . . and you can back it up with a product like Cycle to make it even easier . . . just maintain your testing regimen and you should be fine
