ai

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
you got a smart phone? pc? sorry you a borg already,
I don't want to merge with machines. I don't have a smartphone, but i have a computer. I am going to build a better computer for 3d design for 3d printing, but i can still get off of my computer and go outside and feed my koi and i can still take my dog for a walk. I do not want to upload my brain or get a VR implant. I would never get a VR implant, and i would rather die than upload my brain.

So you got some fake borg implants? Do you want ray kurzweil's predictions to come true?
Maybe you don't know I was in a semi horrible car accident a few weeks ago and broke my ankle. After 2 weeks in a cast the doctor said no healing was taken place and recommended putting screws in it. Truthfully, I was less then thrilled with the idea but the broken bone needed to be pushed against the main bone to heal.

Funny, your comments in the last post. I just watched Chappie last night.

I think AI is conscious, we are only seeing the early versions of ai.
Perhaps humanity is only the caterpillar for the butterfly that is ai.

It is not conscious. How would it be conscious? Please show me some evidence that supports your theory. Humans don't even understand a fraction of the brain and humans can map every neuron in the brain, but that does not mean that they understand how it works. We are extremely far off from creating a conscious machine. "deep learning" will never create a conscious computer. It has to look at 10 billion images of cats and then it can recognize a cat, but only about 70% of the time. "deep learning" is nowhere near being conscious.

You must of missed the part where I said 'I THINK'.
We don't know **** about this universe, prove to me advanced AI won't have a conscious. No one can predict it.
We ONLY understand carbon based life forms, so therefor nothing else counts. Ignorant humans.

The only life forms that we know of are carbon based and the only phenomenally conscious life forms are carbon based. Consciousness is a result of many unpredictable non-linear reactions among billions of cells. There may be advanced AI in 15,000 years, but not now and not in the next 100 years, and not in the next thousand. It is too complex for us
Ignorant humans
to understand any time soon.
