aimara Growth rate?

The fastest growth I have personally seen is 4”-14” in 16 months. I do think that sex male/female plays a role in growth rate as well.

i like the personality.... of mine - pretty interactive...

started 7” 5/20/20 - i’d say 10” currently or 1” per month - lives with sailfin pleco in 150g (2’wide)

Its interesting bc apparentely lacerdae can get to aimara sizes.
I know fishing records aren't perfect, but someone recorded a 47" aimara and a 33" lacerdae making the aimara still bigger by quite a bit.
Anyone have records of larger lacerdae?

Might work for a while. Doubt long term unless you have a ton of dithers you don’t care about.
