I call foul. I like the show most of the time 'cause it highlights some under-appreciated species, but with Pacu being well-known for so long how come this is the first widespread publication of such behavior?

I'm not saying it never happens, I'm not accusing R.M. of intentional misleading, but it's hard to believe stories like this wouldn't have come out of S.A. long ago.

They are not in their usual habitat, therefore what is usually in there diet is not there anymore, so they adapt and add a few new things to the menu..
