outside width of current tank measures 18" and it touches both ends. but could just be it's fins growing in. has gained a fair amount of girth since tho.
i think i've discovered the secret to fast growth rates and will give it a try. recently lost an 8" vatf, armatus killed it. fresh and thought i'd give it a try. camera in one hand atf in other, took a pic as soon as i could, with in seconds only the tail was sticking out of it's mouth. these fish can down big meals. so big meals it'll be. fresh water fish are sold at wet markets, will bring some home, quarantine and feed.
