beauty beast

if only my asian aros behaved like beasts ... all and all, they are quite unfriendly except for HBRTG (raised from fingerling). SR is sometimes curious though eats very little so not bulky atm. the rest are outright unfriendly.

PS: my most interactive beast is jar - perpetually hungry and curious

nice XB, and tanks

Thanks - can't wait to move the children to the new big set-up. hopefully more space will mellow them out some more ... or make it even more territorial - the plan is to decommission all other tanks (i will keep the two 8x3 as quarantine backup and hospital tanks ... with small pretty fishes in there at usual times)

Your XB is looking better everytime! :D Good work, keep it up.

Thanks Hao. This one is developing quite nicely. if only he were a bit more friendly ... at least he eats like a beast when in comm tank. can you believe it i put in 25 feeders (some sort of barbs) and in one month they were not gone!!!!! anyways, he is back in comm again

man you can have tanks outside?

most of my tanks are outside - i am in Laos ^^ though heaters are a must during the NOV-MAR period. i learnt the hard way

feeding feeders with aro floating sticks ... they grow too fast for the aro to eat tho i am sure HBRTG would not be as shy in eating them. there were about 15-16 left (somewhat difficult to count)
