I know how to get rid of this stuff when its alone or near another coral but not touching one, But I have a few stalks right in the center of a zoanthid colony. Whats the best way to eradicate this?

Aiptasia X... Solved my problems. Had a series of these nasties pop up in my blue zoo colony. What little of the Aiptasia X that got on my zoo's did zero harm. Not as dangerous as hot water that close to keepers, and well worth the money. Just be liberal. The instructions say aim for the disc, but any part of the aiptasia touched will be effected. Good luck buddy, big ass aiptasia wiped out my entire green leather, marched in, climbed up my leg and started biting the inside of my ass. Hate them friggin things.

Oh yeah? Well freak you man! BOO! Aiptasia X is what you're after! Joe's Juice is just sort of alright by comparison@

I had a gf like that once. She was a pain to get rid of as well.

I personally like aiptasia x and would use it again. I think the key to using it is to make sure that you have all of your power heads off while you use it.

Alright thanks guys. Ive had my reef up for over a year and havnt added anything new and some aiptasia just started showing up outta no where on my green zoo colony. Its a real pita and I thought the aiptasia removers were harmful to the corals.

Thanks again for the input.

well if you dont have to many aiptasia you could do the kalkwasser paste method where you mix Kalkwasser with water just enough to make a thick past then inject a bit right onto or into the aiptasia let it sit and soon enough said aiptasia will die ready to by syphoned out, but if you do this in a small volume tank you risk throwing off your perameteres.
