No, I dont have them in any of my tanks as I like my systems to be crystal clear without some distracting wall of bubbles coming out of nowhere.... I have plenty of surface agitation from my filtration returns and oxygen levels are high so no need for them.

Bubbles iritate me. Bubbles create unwanted noise and seem to waste tank space. (fish dont usually swim thru the bubbles).

For a very small outlay, air makes an excellent backup support system. I have quite a few tanks, mostly on large and efficient central filters yet they all have air/box/sponge filters.

I just put air in my tank, because when my 220 finally gets delivered I plan on having bubbles walls on the sides of the tank....

i have bubbles in my 100G tank... they are starting to annoy me and look childish...but its good really because i'm planning on using the pump to power my skimmer :D

but i will get a powerhead for the 100G

in my 10gallon tank with 2 bronze cory....i like the bubbles because they like to swim into them and they don't bother me as much :D

on tanks with canister filters only I attach a pump to the return side for surface agitation. Other than that my tanks are air pump free.

I don't have an air pump on my 75. I figured it gets pretty good oxygenation from the wet/dry, and I have lots of surface agitation.

I don't have any air on any of my show tanks. I do have a large air pump to run all of the sponge filters in my breeder tanks in the basement, though. Much cheaper than running a ton of HOB filters.
