What's a triple stacked hydro v? I just need it for extra circulation.

Where in Walmart can I get it? The Walmart near me doesn't have a designated area for fish. And what kind is the one in Walmart? So I know what to get.

Do I need an air pump for my 135? Cause I've been keeping aquariums since I was 10 and ever since I've always used air pumps. If I dont need to then I probably won't.

triple stacked hydro5 would refer to 3 sponge filters stacked on top of each other ,it would take good air movement to get any mech. filtration,so it must put out a lot of air

The tetra tec deep water pump puts out ALOT of air. All three sponges (on one stack) collect a lot of crap. What does it look like? If you google the HydroV sponge filter just imagine it instead of the single sponge, it is three sponges stacked high. So imagine the sponge part being about 13 inches high.

As for your 135 gallon... If your just running it for extra circulation and you must have it (dunno why though) just get the walmart pump.. You really don't have to run an airstone on your tanks. I don't run airstones on any of my setups. Your filter should create more than enough surface agitation be it hob's, canisters, or a sump. If you want more circulation why not some powerheads or circulation type pumps? If you absolutely must run an airpump on your tank. Use a sponge filter setup. Gives you mech, bio, and added circulation. You can even run a powerhead on top of a sponge filter if you'd like. So many options. The only downside is that sponge filters are unsightly/unattractive to most people. I however don't mind them at all.

I don't like air pumps cuz of noise. I run a power head maxijet 1200 which push air bubble and water at the same time.
