Yea Mike that's what I was thinking. I have a 110 gal tall tank that I'm running two Rena Filstar XP3's on now and wanted to add a sponge filter to it. Something like the Hydro IV Sponge Pro Filter. But now I'm thinking about maybe running dual Hydro III sponge pro's, just a thought.

Yes Y them together. But I also run the single into a 3-outlet gang valve to bleed off extra pressure if your not using all the air the pump can put out. This relieves back pressure off the pump. Or some gang valves let you put inlets on each end of the manifold.
