Air pump suggestions

Here is a question,

I notice a lot of pumps have like more than one air nozzle outlet. What do I do with all the spares? I will only be running two air stones discs.

You can put a T and run two outlets into one

Does length of hose have an adverse affect on the amount of bubbles? I have plenty slack in the lines, and not as much bubbling as I would like....
