Ok, So I want my dad to Buy me a Air rifle and pellets. I really want a air rifle to shoot cans and targets with AND Kill small game (Indian miner birds, hares, feral cats) So I found this gun, http://www.pyramydair.com/p/crosman-quest-1000.shtml, The crossman quest 1000. Do you think this will be reasonable for me, I want nothing under 1000 fps.

Also, pellets. I found http://www.pyramydair.com/cgi-bin/pellet.pl?pellet_id=284, Eun Jin, it's heavy, so it has a lot of force. how far do you reckon i could shoot and still take down a animal I listed with a clean hit?
I also found this pellet. http://www.pyramydair.com/cgi-bin/pellet.pl?pellet_id=365
I was thinking i could use these to shoot cans and targets. How far do you think these would travel with a lethal force?

Also, Can I buy something from America, and get it sent to me. I asked dad about this a year ago and he didn't want to do it because he didn't want to go through all the paper work, He said it would be easier if he bought from Aus... But the Australian prices are high as, and now is a good time to buy from America because the money is almost teh same value, give or take a few cents. BTW my dad has a catigory A. license...

That's a nice air rifle..

As far as shipping something from USA, how hard is it going to be to find someone to ship it to you? I shipped something to AUS from USA years ago and honestly from what I remember it was a PITA because of customs(Plus air freight on something large will be $$, and any other freight will leave you waiting weeks for it)

BTW that aussie bum was supposed to send me back some copys of "Fast Fours and Rotarys".. and never did.. lol

That being said you can check it out I guess. Just my input and I wouldn't even know what direction to send you in for a international air rifle supplier.

The 1000 X

I don't like scopes, I love using the regular sites, Much more skill involved IMO.

I thought this was gonna be about airsoft. :(

Pellet guns are cool, but I cant shoot my friends with them and still be friends.

Get a Beeman or a Gamo. There are a few other nice brands out there too. For killing power, you want something that shoots at least 1,000 feet per second. I have a nice Beeman that I shoot crows, starlings and house finches with.

I want a Beeman really bad.
In the Cabelas Christmas catalog they hve some nice pellet rifles. You see any of them Vicious? Theres the Crossman Predator c02 powered, futuristic looking but it looks fun to shoot.

If you wanna drop small game, I would go wit a .22 caliber pellet.
