Air rifle

Your not going to relyably kill cats with any air rifle. It would in fact be cruel to even try. Open sites are just fine on an air rifle because the effective range of the optics on even a low powered scope would still be several times that of the projectile...

If you wanna drop small game, I would go wit a .22 caliber pellet.

But the thing is, is there a .22 break barrel at a affordable price for a 13 year older.

Cat is the same size as a squirrel (I think) and On many of the comments I have read there i lots of squirrel kills. But, you're prolly right.

You can definitely get a 22 cal break barrel air rifle.

But at an affordable price? What are the prices ranging from? Also, I Imagen the pellets cost more and are more heavy.

Depends on how much you want to spend. Also, if you want to kill something small use the .22 pellet or an actual 22 LR rifle. 22 pellets will cost more but you get more lead downrange and also get a little better accuracy.

I got my first pellet gun at 8 years old and my first 22 LR at 12. That is just how it worked out for me.

I have a beeman GH1000 .177 and it goes through both sides of a steel garbage can like a hot knife through butter.

You could probably pick one up used for about $280.

I have dropped pigeons 2 blocks away and cats, well, they dont stand a chance.

I'm looking for a break barrel.... Is that a break barrel? Doesn't look like it.

Yes. It is. Gammo makes a decent break barrel for under $125. These new are quite costy.
