Air stones- clogged, life span, clean or no

I don't know if an fx5-6 has enough power, but it might, the smallest pump on them I've used has been 500 GPH.
My LFSs in Milwaukee carried them, this is very similar

I don’t have a sump on my tank so I’m just wondering how else I could do that. I will keep this in mind for my next tank with a sump though.

Try soaking your airstones in vinegar overnight. Then rinse in water. This cleans out mineral deposits that often clog the stone.
