Airline tickets! Ughh so expensive!!!!

I checked this morning for airline tickets for a vacation I planned and they cost a ton! It will be close to $1700 for just the both for my girlfriend and I! :irked:

What do you guys think about the airline ticket prices?
 
i get discounts :D lol but yeah they are pricey... but what did you expect, its the summer. if you plan a vacation, always by your tickets before hand.
 
Should have thought of this...Student discount! haha

I wounder if airlines do have student discounts.

What's your place of origin? I'd think that if you were reserving your flights over 30 days out, you should be able to travel anywhere in the continental USA to Florida for much less than $1,700 for 2 people. If you're trying to schedule the trip within 30 days of your travel date, then you would have a problem and I could understand why your cost is so high. I would think 2 people could go to Florida roundtrip for about $700-$800.

We are going to Orlando, Florida. We will be going on the 30th of July :D
 
So you booked it for 1700. Payed?!?! Damn! Just be stowaways in the luggage department for that kind of moolah. lol
