Thank you brother, I was inspired by all you guys with huge bichirs. After I sold that 13" congicus is when I dropped out of the scene for a while and i never got to grow out my lower jaws.
Usually I like to buy small and grow out, but I made an exception with these guys. I'm really happy to have them, and I'm waiting to see those beautiful patterns come out.
You, Julian, Mike, Hao, CDM, Ricky, you guys took it to the next level with the big bichirs, I'm just tagging along playing catch up haha

They do look big because the biggest bichir besides them is only 11" lol
These guys would probably look small in other members' tanks.

My girl didn't know about this until this morning when I told her I was going to the airport to pick up a package lol

In my tank they are, but if they were to move to Julian's or Mike's or Burbotman's tanks, they would be on the small side lol

You should see how they intimidate the rest of the comm at feeding time, the laps don't even bother trying to get at the first pieces of tilapia dropped in, they just wait their turn
These guys take big gulps of air, I never get tired of hearing them.
