Damn-
Sorry(Ma'am) about that one---It's habit for me...

Next on the list is some custom "hot" loads....

No problem. Women don't post in gun threads as often as they should :)

My husband just shot one of these earlier today with full power loads and said it wasn't bad at all (guy had it speced out from performance center with compensator and stuff though).

I'll try shooting it next time he goes out there. I would have today had I been there.
We'll probably end up with one eventually, but as of right now there's several other guns we wanna spend the money on instead.

i just read that these are the most powerful production revolvers, is that right? i got it of wiki so i can't be sure.

I think that's correct.

Oh so very true Gal......

Women + Guns = Absolutely hot...LOL....

Yeah people make it out to be worse than what it really is.....It is really heavy so the kick isn't bad.....
To give you an idea-
Like previosly stated I'm only 5'5" 125 pounds and I managed to put 30 rounds through it.....Where I only managed to put 10 rounds through my 44 mag with hot loads.......

What's on the up comming list for you?

I want a kimber gold cup next....

Yep, my next handgun will be a nice Kimber 1911. I wish I never sold my Colt 1911 but I had to help pay for college somehow. My dad has a pair of Kimber 1911's, one single and one double stack. They shoot beautifully and are really nice, well made guns.

Absolutely correct on this, it is not really the recoil of these things as much as it is the weight.. (And a bit of the flash burst at the end of the barrel if uncompensated.)

Want something to kick your but recoil wise try out a Russian 14.5mm PTRD AT rifle... I dislocated a shoulder with one of these before when not being careful and not following directions as to how to fire it. It was totally worth the 25$ a round though :P

Personally I'm gonna go for a model 327 TRR8 .357.

Or I may get some kinda .45. Not sure yet. We just bought an AMT 1911 and I love shooting that.
Really I'll probably go for the first choice since we already just bought a .45.

My husband wants an FN PS90 next or a Glock 10mm.

I didn't even shoot a gun in my life until around 2 yrs ago. In fact I used to be pretty scared of them, and I also thought the bigger calibers would be ungodly painful. After shooting quite a bit I figure it really depends on how the gun is made, because one of the least fun pistols I've shot is a couple of makarovs, which aren't exactly big.
That's actually what my husband originally started me out shooting because he didn't think they'd be bad, but they SUCKED. They jar the crap out of your wrist. I'd much rather shoot our .357 than those.

Our 7.62x25 tokarev is a fun little gun to shoot, and pretty accurate actually, but it feels unbalanced as all hell, lol.
