I going with snails (my first guess) They are tough to get rid of... read here http://www.justbajan.com/pets/fish/articles/rid_snails/index.htm

They start out looking like small white/clear circles. They kind of smear when you squish them. Look for tiny snails with shells in the tank.

you're probably overfeeding or something. just make sure you clean up what your fish dont eat. eww i dont like snails either they are nasty
