I've been to Glacier Bay, Sitka, and Ketchikan. Alaska is so beautiful! The fishing is awesome too!

I have a neighbor, who is 71, that lived on the Kenai Peninsula for 15 years. He has toooooooo many stories!

I had a customer who was a taxidermist in Alaska for 20 years, before he decided to thaw out (his words) and move to CA.

It's a great place...wish i had more time to travel it....I have not been to the aboved mentioned in over 10 years......

Yeah I could imagine the stories he could tell......Seen alot of stuff at that age...went through alot up here to being that old....Hard times back then....

those are great pics.... is it true about the flies.. that they get so bad they can drive the caraboo off mountain cliffs... do you have a problem with them in the summer due to such a short season...whats the temp there now?

It can get that way out in the bush...But generally not anywhere near the cities.
We only have a problem really with them darn mosquito's...Really bad at dusk and dawn......Not so much when it warms up in the day....

No issues with anything during the winter months....


Temp is mid to high 60's.........Sittin on the comp now sweating like no other........
