He won't be going into the koi pond, but he will be in a 8x3 in my garage. It gets too cold where I am for arowana.
He is now around 7.5-8 inches

He is now 10 inches! I moved him into a 110-gallon growout tub, as the 75-gallon was getting too cramped for him.

You said he's moving into a 8x3ft foot tank can he live in there long term? I'm completed getting a golden albino aro for my 210 which I will be upgrading to same size tank in a year or 2
