dude thats not a false aartc its a true NOT A FAKE!!!

Calm down Bro.

There are two types of Asian Redtail Catfish. The Hemibagrus nemerus and the Hemibagrus wyckioides. The Hemibagrus wyckioides is what most people refer to as the Asian Redtail Catfish. They have true Redtails. The Hemibagrus nemerus has a orangish color tail rather than red, Thus being refered to as "False". Hemibagrus nemerus is distinguished by the smaller adipose fin and the small streamer off of the tail. Hemibagrus wyckioides does not have this streamer. This is still to some extent considered a Artc.

Here is a picture of the tail. Notice the streamer. Sorry so Blurry

Easily distinguished from other bagrids in having a flat head, relatively short adipose fin, and filamentous extensions to the dorsal- and caudal-fin rays.
Etymology From the Greek hemi- meaning half and bagrus, the catfish genus. From the Greek nema, meaning thread and oura, meaning tail. In reference to the filaemntous extensions on the dorsalmost principal caudal rays.
