I have thousands, these fish are weird some have red eyes some have black eyes but majority have blue eyes
In clear water they are white but in muddy water they turn almost gold
I have a 1 acre pond full of them but I have 4 ornamental ponds set up with good filters
One of the small ponds I put some babies in it My wife counted 727 when we separated them from the adults
Crazy thing is 4 of the babies were blood red when all the others are white
I’m keeping those
Genetics do some weird stuff
The one acre pond also has yellow bullhead catfish in it
