Has anyone ever seen one? I’ve seen pictures of albino Senegal’s and platinum sens and endli’s, but that’s it. Are there other variations? Google didn’t turn anything up.

Are del’s captive bred regularly? I don’t imagine they’re bred in significant enough numbers to warrant such specialization. But it’d be super cool if they were.
Well I'd imagine just about every animal can be albino so I would expect delhezi bichirs to be able to be albino. Are they common? No, I've done some light searching for one before but I failed to come up with any results. I would imagine that a person with pockets deep enough could acquire one whether that means hiring locals to look for an albino one for years if necessary or trying to locate one in china since all the cool things go to china. Both means are very likely not possible for you as you seem like the average joe.
You’re right, I definitely couldn’t afford to hire someone over seas to search for one. But if they were available, even at hundreds a piece, I may consider it. Maybe Glofish will make me a neon green bichir some day ?.
Dye injected fish are wrong. But I admit I’m intrigued by the idea of breedable genetically modified animals. As long as it’s done ethically and doesn’t harm the animal, I would probably be interested in an electric blue poodle one day. ??
