Luckily the larger one i already have is very very docile. For the day they do join up down the road maybe his size will calm down the king of the smaller batch

My buddy has 5 or 6 pacus in a tank and they are fine. Too small of a tank, 400 gallons, but he has rescued all of the pacus so I guess its ok.

Psssshhhh....give me a break peoples...these are mere silverdollars to me. Ill post pics tommorow evening when i pick them up. Read one of the threads in my sig theres plenty of pics to show my "proof" of caring for large fish. I already care for dozens of fish in the 24-36" range on a daily basis very responsibly. There all spolied rotten and in tanks that can hold them for "life". I deem my 1700 pool too small and built something larger already, whats the problem? Flame on someone with a real problem.

Well it appears I was wrong about housing 6 pacus being logistically impossible. I will shut up now with the questioning
I think it won't be a problem, but those teeth might do some damage even with minimal aggression.

You should be fine with aggression issues with that many in together. You would see more aggression with just 2 or 3 together, but when you've got a larger group the infighting usually is lessened. Plus they don't normally maul each other to the point of something like a piranha. I'd love to see pics of this group when you get it together, should be awesome.
