The oscars and honduran red points aren't albino, they're leucistic.

Albinism is actually very rare in Cichlids... and much more rare in animals in general than previously belived. Many creatures previously thought to be Albino have been proved to be Leucistic.

Leucistism can also affect only portions of the body... which makes me wonder if the Orange/White Midas have partial Leucisim...

if they have stripes theyre not albino theyre leucistic right(because they have some color)?

Pink is the only color that Albinos can have... and it will be very light...

I've never seen or heard of an Albino Con...

"Gold" Dempseys are Leustic also... even though the only colors they have is white & pink.

I'm fairly up to date on my genetics and I really have no idea about the midas complex coloration. I'm not even sure how it's passed on or anything. I do know it has to do with the destruction of the melanopores over time, which is why they go from barred to colored. I've tried to look into scientific journals on the subject but to no avail.

I've also seen leucistic Parachromis species, and nics, but no albino.
