Albino Senegal Not Growing

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Welcome aboard
I agree with the above. The last Albino Senegal I had didn't grow larger than my regular Senegal he wasn't as small as yours though. I have a juvenile now that is growing atm but will eventually slow down to spurts or stop. Also if your Nitrate level is too high that will stunt the growth of most fish species.

Lying down like that can still hide a concave belly. That's what happened with my polli and retropinnis. A shot of the underside would definitely rule out a concave belly.
I wish i could but that won't happen he's pretty skittish.

Those eyes seem abnormally big, as if it were stunted.

welcome!!! Your albino Sen looks super cute! That is crazy that is still so small after such a long time, especially with frequently eating. Would strongly suggest trying a small high quality pellet or very small pieces of fish.

Rocksor Rocksor :The deworming is a great idea.Is prazi-pro less effective if used alone? P.S. We want to see pics of the hog retro!!!!!!’

Thanks! Currently i'm feeding him the freeze dried krill but i'm now trying hikari sinking carnivore pellets which he seemed to absolutely love.

Prazipro only handles certain internal parasites, not round worms like callamanus
