I am very reluctantly putting up for sale one of my three albino snappers. I believe that she is a female...but it is much easier to tell when they get a little bigger. She is currently approximately 14 months old and her shell is 4.5". She eats pellets, bloodworms, krill, and greens like a beast and she is growing fast. She is absolutely stunning and her only flaw is that the last 1/2" of her tail was nipped off as a baby and it has a slight curve. It is barely noticeable and will not affect breeding AT ALL. Breeding albino snappers is gaining popularity extremely fast and has the potential to make a lot of money. They are not very commonly available so get this girl while you can!!! $10k shipped or best REASONABLE offer.

EDIT: Forgot to put in title: I am located in Southern NJ and this turtle is available for pick up or shipped.

First it was kinda cool looking. Then i laughed at price . Then Well I had to look it up after seeing a 10k price tag to see what was out there in the world. Interesting what you can learn and see in 5 minutes.

Yeah...I agree it is a shocking price tag...but there just aren't many for sale...especially females. Hatchlings sell for $5k at http://www.theturtlesource.com/i.asp?id=300200522&p=Albino-Common-Snapping-Turtles

To my knowledge, there are only three people in the world breeding these guys. They are extremely rare and a potentially very lucrative breeding project. Hence the large price tag.

Cool turtle so wish I had $10,000 right now.

I was under the impression that it is illegal to sell turtles in New Jersey. http://www.gardenstatetortoise.com/turtlelawsnj.html

It is illegal to sell turtles WITHIN NJ. I will only sell to individuals residing in states where legal. It states that it is legal to do so directly in the link you provided..."However, turtles and tortoises CANNOT be sold WITHIN the state of NJ. All transactions must be made to individuals residing
outside of the state."
