are those your fish in the pics? and how can you tell if they are trying to spawn? what are the signs?
they are hanging out around the pot cleaning it out and not letting anything near and yes those are my fish. i posted the thread in this thread on page 1 or 2
your fish are amazing!! how long did it taake tgem to get that big, and also could you keep a rainbow crab in with them or a large crayfish? or blue lobster? im looking for ways to add a bit off colour to the tank.
how big of tank you running for them? and thank you the albino is 3.5 the bigger tiger is 2.5 -3 and the smaller tiger is about 1- 1.5
years odl? and i have them in a 6 foot tank at the moment, but its just the two in there and jumpy. one oscar is about 4 to 5 inches and the other is about 3 to 4 inches.
ya years old and i have mine in a 6foot 120 show tank and i would personally go with a colorful cichlid like a EBJD=electric blue jack dempsey or just a regular jack. a flower horn would also be very colorful and is yours a 125 or 120
im not sure i think its a 120? ive been thinking about getting a flowerhorn but not too sure whether theyll give my oscars grief or not, but i like the idea of an ebjd also but theyre aggressive to and ive seen one fighting with a full size oscar.
that JD in my tank i think runs it but causes not trouble its the oscars that fight with them selves lol i think fighting is going to happen in tanks like we have. i just let it happen your two will fight when they become about 8 or 9'' to establish dominance. mine have lived together with no problem until about 7 months ago and now fight two or three times a week no one gets hurt to badly and if your tank it 18'' deep (front to back) its a 125 if it is 120 its 16''
