Albino tiger shovel nose catfish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That is quite the find! I don't recall ever seeing an albino TSN in the over 2 decades I've been in the hobby. Hard to believe someone traded this guy in...talk about not knowing what you have! Congrats on the score!

O.p. Ill give u $400 for him lol...niiiice pickup, the suspense was killin me today hah...and yes fwprawn i know the thread ur talking about. That was my suspision of how this fish is even in the states. Piebald tsn are not that uncommon and fade in and out of lecustic/albino patterning. A good friend of mine had a pie tsn for yrs. Looked different every time i saw it. I think this one in particular may be a true lecustic tho, def. Hope some more pop up but i highly doubht it. Amazing find....

Interesting. I wonder what those fish look like now. In the pics the appear to have some pigment left. Mine is completely white.

They could be PM'ed and poked for an update :) Second one is easy. I think Mreque on PCF is also on MFK but I may be wrong.

Haha I got ahold of remme. Sounds like his stayed white with a few brown spots. Like a piebald color. I'm pretty convinced mine is leucistic.

Great pick up!!! When I saw him in the store I snapped a few pics. Figured he would be gone quick. Think they said the previous owner had it in a 180. Guess they didn't know what they had.
