Albino wels catfish (Silurus glanis)

Hi all,

I am from Italy and I like this nice web-site.
I've imported 4 young albino Silurus glanis yesterday: I'll keep them in my 1200 litres aquarium for about 3-4 years, and then I will transfer them in my big garden pond. Actually they are about 7 cm long.
Who keeps thismonster species in this forum?
I will make some videos very soon too.
Last but not least I keep 5 sharks (a couple of Blacktip reef sharks, a female Nurse Shark and a couple of Brownbanded bamboo sharks) in my 18.000 marine lagoon: see videos here http://www.youtube.com/user/Engaiauden#p/u

Welcome to MFK!!! I do not have wels cat, but 3 ID's that are in 600 gallon ponds, and 2 babies in a 50 gallon!!!

Very cool sharks!!! I also keep many reef and marine tanks including trigger tanks and I will have an up coming cowfish tank!

beautiful albino wels! Handfeed them, its fun and they are gentle giants. They adapt to warm water so if you keep your water around low to high 70s it can get used to it and have massive growth.
