That may be considered cruel. None of my business anyway. I wonder what'd happen to me if my parents locked me up in a closet and fed me 10 crackers a day through a crack.
After all, they are called crackers for a reason.
I probably wouldn't be so vibrant now but rather cracked and wouldn't be offering my stupid opinions left and right without being asked to.

me to each their own. I used to get worked up over that kinda stuff. I have since learned it will never change. he was just doing what he thought was good. all I can do is try to get it and let it be the monester it can be.
People can't be changed from the outside. It only leads to unpleasantness at the least.
I believe the best we can do is exchange opinions politely and considerately and if and only if both parties want to hear the opinion of the other.

Why do ppl get monster fish if they then don't want them to get big? It makes no sense. Just get a smaller fish! Wels have smaller relatives too that look like them.

To have the experience to the extent they can afford and then aiming to sell or pass on the fish. Some get it for bragging, which is a pretty bad reason. Maturity is scarce. I've not mastered it either.
But most people just don't think, don't do their homework. Irrelevant here as wels are a niche offering but since we are ruminating aloud and in general.
Probably in an analogous reasoning, people get houses, cars, and boats they can't afford or would lose at the slightest monetary misfortune, or want to win a lottery or get an insanely rich or attractive spouse, thinking it'll make them happy and thinking that, for sure, if anyone, they can handle it

The more you have the more responsibility you must exercise, people don't seem to grasp that.
Yeah but this guy's friend (the wels owner) has been keeping it a while without selling it...doesn't seem overly eager to sell. I hope he does tho and the OP gets it!
