Yea you have to use bottles with the labels etched on. Anything with labels.. the labels just come off over time. I drilled a hole in a Hypnotiq bottle and filled it with light blue clear marbles. It looked really nice on a dark substrate.

I had a vodka bottle in my tank with a clear plastic label stuck on it for years... the label is stuck on just as firmly today as the day I polished off the vodka...
