Alex Rodriguez to be banned from MLB?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Theres no language in his contract or the cba which will allow the Yankees to get out of the contract.

this is true...so far.. ,and though RIGHT NOW, it looks ok for a-rod... part of his agreement to not be banned may include temp. retirement , short of that it's going to court.. if nothing else it will keep our attention:)

I don't think Mr.Hustle will ever be forgiven and welcomed back.

Yes, the Yankees are trying to collect insurance on it though if he goes so long without playing. These contracts are fully guaranteed. Bs but not my doing

so correct me if i'm wrong, arod is a known user and people are calling for his banning from the league?

wow, that's kind of harsh. I can see getting fined and suspension, even taking away some awards or whatever but banned for life?

The insurance is for his injury haven't heard anything as to whether it covers suspension as well. All contracts should be guaranteed, thats the whole point of a multiyear contract. I dont know how nfl players got hosed into letting teams break contract at will but dont see it happening in other sports.

It happens in basketball with buy outs. I actually think its better that way. The problem is mlb has the strongest union of the major sports.

I could be wrong but I believe the insurance covers missing a certain amount of time missed regardless of reason. He's trying hard to get called up from the minor league to restart the clock. To the point the Yankees doctor diagnosed him with a thigh strain a couple of weeks ago, yet an independent doctor found nothing. Huge chess match going between the 2 right now

Long story short, though he's only tested positive once, he's a known repeat violator who's publicly admitted using in the past. If they're able to get him beyond the already agreed upon penalties (50 games, 100, banned), it'll be because of the attempted cover up and lying when asked about it. They're trying to make an example out of A Fraud and Ryan Braun but an additional 8 players will be suspended too

The lone test he was caught on was suppose to remain unanimous so none of those players were penalized. I think it was 89players who tested positive in 2007
