Alex Rodriguez to be banned from MLB?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Im just saying that they were all good players with or without the roids. You act like they injected it for breakfast every day but really they passed almost every time that they were tested.

Use of synthetic HGH has been going on since the '90s but an accurate test for HGH is a very recent development and the use of this test in MLB started this year. There was also "the clear" which was an Anabolic steroid that didn't show up on the test of the day.

Yeah pretty much except it wasn't injected. That's already been outlined in court *facepalm*

I don't think anyone here doubts these were good players, no drug will improve your hand eye coordination . however, most realize that being able to work out more = equals bigger bodies = hitting the ball further more often. Also healing from injuries faster = more playing time = further exploitation of your stats. We all know extending the amount of years you're productive = exploited stats at a time you should be slowing down.

We all know all of those things add up to good player landing among the all time greats in the stat book. That's the problem. The stats aren't real, they're skewed. So what happens to the clean players from the same era that were putting up good clean numbers? You don't notice them because your perception of what they accomplished is screwed up by the numbers the cheaters put up

No. But if you treat reporters like dirt and just generally act like a douche to the people around you, you arent representing the game well. That's what the hall of fame is about. IMO, it's about people who not only excelled at the sport, but represented the sport... which Barry Bonds did not do well.

while this is in general true ... don't forget TED WILLIAMS:popcorn:

Nbc 's "meet the press" is reporting that a suspension is immenant

wouldn't surprise me at all if he accepted (or even offers to take)a contract buyout

Yeah, that's what it sounds like they're working on

The CBA has specific penalties set in place as previously mentioned, I don't blame A Fraud for fighting the length of his suspension. Its kinda BS don't you think?

Even if he supposedly obstructed the investigation, look at melky Cabrera last year.

His suspension wasn't elevated. What's your thoughts Lee?

probably ... if it comes down for longer than say, 1 yr.. he does have a point if he claims nobody else has been drilled that hard on an UNPROVEN "but obvious "violation:popcorn:
