Algae Bloom? New Tank...

Would it be too early to add a plecostemus(sp?) (or other) to help with the algae?

as long as you dont do too much of water change each time, it will not really affect Nitrogen cycling. 10~20% per week would be ok. Dont clean your filter for a couple of months, because it is still too new.
dont feed too much
and turn off the lights
