Algae eater ID please

Hello,
My LFS brought in these albino algae eaters and I'm having trouble positively IDing them. I thought they're Chinese algae eaters but the shop owner insisted it's not the Chinese but "the other one". I hope someone here can help me get an ID

IDK much about them. There is a siamese algae eater too. But in any case they are cyprinids, that is from the carp family.

Not catfish. You might not get your answer here. You could ask a mod to move your thread or make a new one in the carp forum or in General Aquaria discussion.

Apologies for posting in the wrong section. Yes I know there is siamese algae eater and also flying fox, false siamese, so being an albino I'm having a hard time pinning what is it exactly.

Your lfs owner is full of crap, that's a golden Chinese algae eater. Go back and show her evidence and get your money back.

Yup, 100% a Chinese algae eater. I’ve kept the normal colors and they’re pretty unmistakable. Unless you’re the guy at your LFS lol.
I’ve noticed that a lot of places will get a big mix order, then will receive the fish in unlabeled bags, along with a long order receipt. It’s their (and their staff’s) responsibility to properly label everything (or memorize) from this order form. Which ive seen before and isn’t descriptive at all and doesn’t have any photos on it.
They usually don’t care enough to google every name so stuff tends to get mislabeled. These shops are my favorite because I’ll usually pick stuff up for DIRT CHEAP that has been mislabeled!

Thank you all for the replies, I thought it was the Chinese ae but the guy confused me when he it's "the other one". Although by saying that he showed that he clearly doesn't know what he's talking about.
It wasn't expensive though, little less than 2.5 bucks so it's ok
