Algae Eaters

What algae eaters would you recommend that will not eat the plants.

What size tank/what other inhabitants are there/what type of algae?

58G tank, mostly tetra and a group of rainbows. Green algae on plants and side of tank.

bristlenose are awsome one of my favorite plecos thats what i had in my 30 he was a beast never messed with ottos maybe both lol if possible

Otto's for sure! Small, fast, almost no bioload, and they eat algae 24/7. Bristlenose will work of course, but I think the otto's do less collateral damage. They don't even bend the stem when they're cleaning a leaf.

There are many different types, but generally you will not see very colorful ones This species is my favorite, but it is pretty rare...
