Algae Gone Wild!!!

I'm not adding ferts seperately, I'm just using the Flourish which my plants really responded to. I'm currently working on trying to get some CO2 in place hopefully by this weekend. How long before I see results?

As for my lights... everything I read before I bought them said that they could be used just my plants would grow slower. i don't like the look of 10k or less, as it is this one is still too yellow looking for me.

i tested my tank for things I have test kits for,
kh is 3ppm
gh is off the scale
ph is 6.8, CO2 is 10
Nitrate is less than 10
 
also i put a picture of when i first set it up in my albums. there are more plants now then when I started, and you can't see my tiger lotus because they weren't up yet.
 
lights over 10,000k do not contain the right spectrum of light for freshwater plants, it's just not gonna help.

once you get co2 going you should see results very quickly, in a few days. also, using the co2 chart to measure your co2 is NOT accurate. get a drop checker to monitor your co2 once you get it running
 
Did you make your own Drop Checker? If you did what do you use for solution?
