algae growing on my fish?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
On the right track, in about a week she'll be good as new. On a side note, I have a Red Bay Snook, yellow perch and my snook chases him constantly.

No meds necessary. Just keep up with water changes. They're definitely healing tissues from ammonia burns.

For ammonia burns? Not necessarily. If you still have traces of ammonia left, it's not advisable as high temp contributes to increasing the toxic levels of ammonia aside from high pH.

Temp back at 78f. Also did another 50% WC...tested water 2hrs later and 0 ammonia. The reason I changed temp back is for the yellow perch. Deffinitely more comfy for him as it has been a good compromise temp for tropicals and natives being housed together. I've kept them together now for over 5 yrs with no complications at this temp.
