Algae issue not resolving

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have used RowaPhos from day one and I haven't had any algae problems so far, I would recommend trying something along those lines. Not sure how many people use phosphate removers but so far it has worked for me..

well i feed half a block at a time twice a day (once again i do alternate foods) I have 2 clowns and a goby which seems to eat it up as well as my couple of peppermint shrimp.

The instructions said I could drop in a frozen cube so i just did that. I'll start rinsing the food now though.

I also had the lights on for 8 hrs (2-4 hr cycles) I just modified it this am to a total of 5 hrs to see if that helps. Anything else I can do?

I will try and scrub off what I can tonight. Is it possible spores are trapped in my filter media (AC110)? and causing it to grow?

A Yellow tang......... i got one and it destroyed the hair algae overnight

that would be great... however my tank is 30g... too small for a tang...
